Session Details
I can run different types of session, depending on the school.
For Transition Year students (who have more time), I can run a type of book club, where the students read the book before I get there and can then ask me about plot, character, ideas, dialogue. This would be for smaller groups of maybe up to thirty.
For all classes I can run a storytelling workshop, where I excite students about story, encourage them to write, and through interaction, involvement and simple exercises get them to explore character, plot and using their senses. This is very popular.
Another alternative, is read and answer questions, to a larger group of up to 100. I believe that the students benefit much more from the first two options.
Age Group Details
I can work with children/teenagers from 10 years up.
Availability Details
Generally, I am flexible, though when writing, I will probably not visit more than one school a week, unless a school is very near me.
