Trinity College English Evening Lecture Series: "Engaging Poems"

 In this ten-week lecture series members of the School of English and invited guests will introduce a poem and provide a close reading/analysis of it.  The poems will be chosen from a wide range of styles, periods and places, and will provide the audience with fresh insights into the poem as well as an understanding of how poetry analysis works: the lecture will be followed by audience discussion.

Irish Pages presents the Belfast launch of "Heaney"

"Irish Pages" invites you to the Belfast launch of its memorial issue "Heaney" (Vol 8, No 2) with readings from the issue and remarks by Kerry Hardie, Damian Smyth, Cathal O Searcaigh, Tom Mac Intyre, Patricia Craig, Chris Agee & Alan Gillis.

Saturday Spring Poetry Workshops in Cavan

These poetry workshops with Kate Ennals will bring together local poets and writers to stimulate discussion and develop their work. The workshops will discuss specific English and Irish poets each week and on alternate weeks Kate will workshop the participant's poems arising from an assignment.

Publishing Day: Focus on self-publishing
